Orlando was perfect for spring break. All of the kiddies had a great time and enjoyed the resort life for 2 days with getting slimed and being in the pool from sun up to sun down. I was able to take in some shopping at the outlet malls & I found lots of great finds I will be incorporating into my wardrobe this spring/summer. The day I was leaving Orlando, I was called with some bad news. My grandmother had passed. My grandmother was the catalyst to passing down great style to her daughters which in turn was passed down to her grand daughters. Our childhood consisted of shopping, shopping and more shopping.
This is a really sad week for my family. But we are strong and will bounce back. I will share the personal style of some of my family this week with you. Especially my fashionable cousin “Stan”- stay tuned….

Today is the start of a fun filled week for me & my girls. I always try to take advantage of this time (spring break) with my daughters to connect & do whatever it is that they want to do. So with that being said, we are headed to Orlando…….
I chose to pull out my holey torn up jeans that I purchased about 2 years ago from an on-line boutique. They are so confy but I’m finding that the holes are expanding with each wash. So it may be time to give them up pretty soon. But until that time I will continue to rock them…..
So it’s Friday & I’m so ready to get my weekend started. I’m like a kid on Christmas eve when Fridays hit. Anticipating Saturday morning so I can get up & hit my local thrift stores up. I find so many treasures when thrifting & it’s such a high to find high end pieces for little to nothing. My 13 year old daughter thinks I’m delusional. She says she dosent know how I can take it to be in there for more than a few minutes with the bad smell. But I go so often I have literally become immune to the smell.lol……..Anyone else obsessed with thrifting?

I started this blog to inspire & motivate others that have faced the same challenges as myself.Being overweight and transitioning into different fashions after weight loss. It’s Definately a process discovering what works for your body type and what dosent. As I mentioned in a previous post, I still find mys
elf looking for shirts that cover my arms and are long enough in length to cover my low hanging gut. I’m sure it’s different body parts for everyone depending on what your areas you carried most of your weight in. One of my followers pointed out that she would like to see before pictures posted so that can serve as inspiration too. I agree, so within the upcoming weeks I will be looking for pictures to share with you guys of me with an extra 135 pound on. I feel so blessed to be in a position where I can share with the world that you can be Glam at any size and if you are struggling with your weight there is
hope and it is possible to get the weight off & keep it off and be able to rock the fabulous fashions that you see when you flip through magazines. Does anyone have a weight loss story to share?
My glammy BF put me on to these congac clogs about 2 years ago. She had purchased a pair by Steve Madden for a really good price on sale. So that’s when my search began. I searched high and low locally and on the internet. Every place was either sold out or didn’t have my size. So eventually I just gave up. Then about 3 months after my search I was in bakers and what
do I see. The same exact clogs that my bestie had. So you know I
grabbed them up quick. I even got another pair in black. The best part about it was I got 2 pair for what she paid for her 1 pair…its moments like that, that make it worth the wait….

I’m loving electric blue. I’m finding that when I’m out shopping, I’m gravitated to this blue and picking up coordinating pieces that match with it. I think I love it because its so many colors that go well with it, and so many colorblocking option
s to transition it into spring and summer. This is how I chose to rock my blue today.

I’m looking forward to this weekend. It’s been a really long week and I’m ready to take some time for myself and do a little shopping. Hopefully I can be focused and clean my closet out & stop putting it off. I don’t know about you,but it’s so frustrating getting ready for the day and having to fight through a ball of confusion to get dressed every day. My hubby gets on me all the time telling me I have hoarding tendencies.(I beg to differ) even though it’s so hard for me to get rid of a lot of things lol….. So maybe I can prove him wrong and get some organization going and consign some things from my closet this weekend.
We shall see………..
