Happy Monday Glam Dolls,
I hope everyone’s weekend was great. I had a lot of time to relax & spend time with my daughters. yesterday my girlfriend and I went to eat lunch at Carrabbas. I received an invite from them to come for a complimentary lunch to taste some upcoming dishes they will be adding to their menu. Everything was incredible. I enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the dessert. Did I mention this is one of my favorite restaurants….. I have been eating there for years and I literally order the same entree every time. So it was really nice to sample other options that they have to offer. I wore this oh so comfy thrift store buy. The so I thought, red dress. I had this dress for at least 6 months. When my cousins were here to visit I showed one of my cousins the dress and referred to it as being red. She said you must be color blind because this dress clearly is orange. When I took a closer look, I realized it was more orange than red. So I refer to it as the orange red dress now. What color does it look like to y’all?
Happy hump day glammy gals.
We are half way through the week- wooohoooo. Today I’m wearing 2 trends in one. The floral print on a Shirtdress. When I spotted this dress a few months ago, I knew I had to have it. The bright colors captured me with the modern floral pattern. It’s the perfect length for me and provides nice coverage for my arms. It came with a belt, but I swapped it out with this cobalt blue thrift find that I love love. This dress is versatile it can be paired with flats for a casual comfortable look or jazzed up a bit with heels, how I’m wearing it today.
How would you style this dress?

Good morning glammy gals….
I’m sorry for the lack of posts last week. I was preparing for my family that came to town from New Jersey. My mother’s day weekend was phenomenal. There’s nothing better than being surrounded by family. All 4 of my mother’s sisters came to town and all of my closest cousins & their kids. We had a ball. We ate good, we tailgated at a local event called the funk fest and topped it off with a special mother’s day tribute to our mothers. I was sad to see them leave but I will hold this weekend in my heart forever.
This is what I wore to the funk fest. It was a comfortable combination & no fuss. Which is a must when dealing with this Florida heat.
I know my toes are ashy, I didn’t lotion them until I got in the car….lol
First pic is of my older sissy Dee. She is the most Aggy person in life but I love her so much and she has the biggest heart. I would do anything for her. She always made me feel good when I didn’t feel so good about myself. She supports me in everything I set out to do. She is my biggest cheerleader. Love you sissy…..xoxo
Next we have my cousin Ke but I consider her my sissy too. We have been tight forever and a day. Her personality is like no other. Her best quality is her slick words and her loyalty to her family and the ones she loves. As you can see she is a curvy chick and rocks it well. You will never see her out half stepping. Love you Ke…..xoxo
Last but certainly not least we have Stan. He may look familiar from a previous post ( Stan’s World) I love this guy, so funny and he so gets my love for thrifting. Maybe because he thrifts just as much. We tore the local thrift stores up while he was here. Love you little cuz …..xoxo
For the remainder of the week I will introduce you guys to more of my fabulous family.
As always thanks for stopping by and have a glammy good day……..
The trending topic for the last few weeks has been losing weight and getting right for the summer. Actually that’s a topic that is universal and something that is always talked about amongst women everywhere. Trust me I know. I think that more than 50% of my conversations in life have been about it. One thing that I do know for sure is whatever method you use, whether it be weight loss surgery or the traditional methods of diet & exercise. It’s all about making a change. You can’t expect to see change without changing the habits that have caused you to put on additional weight. It’s Definately a struggle but you have to believe that you have it within to even start the process of change. Then you have to put the action behind it and just do it. Have a mindset of I won’t quit until I get to where I want to be. We can apply this to so many things in life. I’m living proof.

Thank you for stopping by and have a Glammy Thursday….
When I like something, I tend to buy more than one. Steinmart is a store that I don’t usually shop. But when they have a sale its always worth my while. My mom absolutely loves this store and always alerts me when they are going to have a really good sale that I can’t miss out on. I like to shop their boutique section, there are always really nice high end unique selections to chose from. These are the latest shirts from Steinmart boutique that caught my eye.

This weekend for me will be filled with drinks, drinks and more drinks. With everything that was going on last week I wasn’t able to properly celebrate my birthday. So my girlfriends are taking me out for drinks & dinner tonight, and a crab boil with my other girls tomorrow. Family time on Sunday. I will post pictures next week of all of this weekend happenings…..
Everyone enjoy your Easter weekend and interject some florals, pastel or neon color in your Sunday attire ……smooches

I’m cracking up as I write this post. I can remember back in my younger years one thing that I hated about my body was my bumpy legs. Mind you I never had any hair grow on my legs, but they were filled with hair bumps. One day while in gym class sitting on the bleachers (in shorts) a guy named Walt who was sorta kinda a friend said in front of everyone. ” Your legs look like doritos” I was mortified. Everyone started looking, laughing and agreeing. He couldn’t leave it at that. He made joke after joke about it. He even went as far as grabbing and biting at my legs.Needless to say from that day, I had even more of a complex about my bumpy legs.
But I’m at a place now where I’m embracing things about myself I wasn’t fond of in the past. There are some things about ourselves we cannot fix. So hell, why not embrace and flaunt it.
In my mind today my legs are one of my better assets because they are thin and look super long in a mini and heels…..
